3x^2 - 9x + 6 - 3(x - 1)(x - 2)
3x^2 - 9x + 6 - 3(x^2 - 2x - x + 2)
3x^2 - 9x + 6 - 3(x^2 - 3x + 2)
3x^2 - 9x + 6 - 3x^2 + 9x - 6
Everything gets cancelled out, so it doesn't matter if i put 10 in for x or not.
3(10)^2 - 9(10) + 6
3(100) - 90 + 6
300 - 90 + 6
210 + 6
216

3(100) - 9(10) + 6 - 3(10-1)(10-2)
= 300 - 90 + 6 - 3(9)(8)
= 216 - 216
= 0
No matter what you plug in for x this will always equal zero.
3x² -9x +6 -3(x-1)(x-2)
= 3x² -9x +6 - 3(x² - 3x + 2)
= 3x² -9x +6 - 3x² +9x -6
= 0

3 x² - 9x + 6 -3 (x-1)(x-2)when x=10.?
3(10)(10) -9(10)+6-3(10-1)(10-2)
300 - 90 + 6 - 3( 9 )( 8 )
300 - 90 + 6 - 3(72)
210 + 6 - 216
216 - 216
= 0
