There are many fine actresses, but Meryl Streep is the grand dame of acting. She has had more Academy Award Nominations than any other actor alive, and her peers truly look up to her. Unfortunately, she is almost 60, does not live in L.A. nor care about creating a popular image by starring in vapid blockbusters. Therefore, most young people (the ones who fill out theaters) do not even know who she is. As a result, she is not a major box office draw and is not the best paid actress in the world. If salaries were based solely on talent, she would earn more than anyone, male or female. Not only can she learn any accent perfectly, but she has an uncanny ability to physically transform herself for every performance. She can do everything from Shakespeare to dark comedy.
I urge those of you who are not familiar with her work, to discover her amazing body of work, beginning with Deer Hunter to her latest, The Devil Wears Prada, soon to be in theaters.
...and no, I have never met her. I wish!

Keira Knightley. I am such a fan of her work, she has amazing talents. Also, she seems so nice, polite, and good-natured. In addition her beauty is radiant. She has a wonderfully fair complextion and her eyes are full like the moon.
