Well because in today's society, appearance is EVERYTHING. And plus, the first thing people do, is look at you...not talk to you. And if they like what they see, they'll take the time to get to know you. Girls spend alot of time on their clothes and appearance because they want to look good for the guys. If you don't want a girl to spend so much time on their appearance...then stop putting so much emphasis on it.

Because they believe clothers represent who they are.. They believe that thats what makes them sexy or approved on by others. Its been instituted in are modern culture that clothes help show the world what you are.
