It seems they have a live DVD coming out, but I can't find anything about or refuting a future album. I remember something a while back about them saying they don't want to record again, they are just going to tour. Don't know if that's true. Their first split a long time ago was not amicable, so maybe recording is too much of a pain and touring is enough for them.

Don't count these guys out. Over the years, they have been through many trials and tribulations as well we all know. Mumblings from the underground indicate that they are constantly planning their next move whether it be a studio album, a live tour or what have you. I am speculating that they no longer leak this info until the timing is right. As it becomes more difficult to integrate and complete projects these days due to scheduling conflicts and/or other matters, it simply takes much longer for these blueprints to actually see the light of day - from start to finish. IMO, The Eagles have definitely NOT completed their flight.

yeah, i always thought they were gonna make an album out of the single "Hole In The World" but i guess they didn't
