which movie is better, gone in 60 seconds(2000) or the fast and the furious(2001)?

Tough question but, will have to say Gone in 60 Seconds. It had a better storyline and like another person answered the characters were more developed. Fast and the Furious was good, showed a lot about the street racing scene and had some awesome cars in it.

Gone in 60 Seconds was far better. The characters are fleshed out and sympathetic, so you actually care about the relationships.

Fast and Furious was a cool movie, but it had no depth.

I really like both of those movies but im gonna say gone in 60 seconds......hard choice though. But i do know one thing........fast and the furious the origional is better than 2 fast 2 furious .......havent seen the 3rd one yet but i plan on it here soon........so that is to be determined.

I like them both the same they are both fav's of mine i have them both on DVD, i like the story of gone in 60 seconds and i think Angelina Jolie is great in it but i love everything from the cast and cars to the charters to the sound track on the fast and the furious two great films!

I don't really watch movies with fast cars. I notice that you ask alot of questions on movies. Do you enjoy watching movies? Me too! I prefer movies with animals and magic in them, I say, if you really want a movie with fast cars choose Speed Racer. I saw some parts of it. I thought it was kind of cool! I did not watch the entire thing eh? My father did. He said he gave that movie a 4 star rating. So I guess it was like a 4 star hotel, nice, comfortable and COOL with big Os on it! Bunnie Bones
