Oh yes!!!!
I am almost the same way, but I am a goalie. You will never know unless you try. Try out for both. If you do not make A than maybe you will make B.

Go for it....always aim high. If you end up on the B team, you went for it. Remember, if you really want something bad enough you can make it happen.
Plus-I think when you describe yourself it should be excellent shooter, good skater, average stickhandler and oh by the way a girl.....More Power to you. I hope to see you out there someday.

An A team ---- what's the worst that could happen--- you might get cut. Then go to the second option. It would also give you an evaluation of your skills and abilities--- strengths and weaknesses.
