I am successful by most standards.
My mother had little phrases on the fridge that I live by now, at 52.
"A little shot is just a big shot that kept shooting"
"Never ever ever ever give up."
"Most people avoid opportunity because it comes dressed in overalls and looks like work."
To be successful, you have to be lucky.
To increase your chances of luck, work harder.
Everyone wants to be a successful singer, athlete, artist, etc.
I am a chemical engineer that has worked very hard all my life.
Now, I have millions and very successful kids, wife and a great lifestyle.
There is no guarantee for success. But almost all successful people work hard.

First determine what your idea of success is,i.e. happy support of family,self ego indulgence etc and be able to live with your decisions.Financially,I will tell you,1) well to do pepole dont waste money on lil trinkets(junk) buy less but quality items,give value for gifts stocks,bonds etc for birthdays,graduation(these are always useful,due long term projections(lifecycles of actions and goals),you can always form shell or umbrella corps and place family biz matters within these parameters(purchases and investments then get quantitized and become part of biz function)dont run yourself into the ground triing to hustle let others run themselves into the ground for you and yours.People hustle themselves into the poor house daily.LIFE is Loving Infitessimal Freedoms Everyday.

Believe in yourself and once you have 100% sure on your id .. all is possible to be a successful businessman. Attitude, working hard, honestly, promise less to customer and give more than you promised to customer, it will built reputation that YOU care for them (customer), let customer feel that they are important to you.
