As a Republican, I feel obligated to answer your question.
I cannot speak for all Republicans, or even the Republican Party at large, but simply to portray my own personal contentment.
I enjoy knowing that terrorists around the world are meeting judgment for their actions. Here's the thing--some people in this world are evil. An even smaller subset of these evil people commit crimes so atrocious that they must be stopped; they must be ended; they must be justly dealt with.
I am not a soldier, but I enjoy meeting soldiers who return from war. They tell me that good things are happening and that progress is being made on the road toward freedom and democracy. Genuine people tell me with pride that they feel a sense of accomplishment as a result of their duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Now (here's the clincher), I don't believe that such successes would be happening if Democrats were currently in control of our government. I don't dislike Democrats or even liberals. In fact most of the ones I have met have been dedicated and passionate. They are good-hearted and want the best for America (they just have no idea how to achieve such a goal). They are citizens and patriots just like I am. However, Democratic leaders are less interested in protecting America and the ideals Americans stand for than they are interested in controlling a supposed global warming epidemic.
I would encourage a few of those who enjoyed former Presidential candidate, Al Gore's new documentary on global warming to do just a little research into what the same scientists who make such staggering predictions about our future have said about past environmental changes. If any liberal-minded person were to take a second look and realize that our environment is a constantly changing one that does not pay heed to the actions of its inhabitants, I believe that this aforementioned liberal would see things a little differently.
All Americans are interested in the welfare of other Americans because we are a caring nation. The hurricane season that devastated our gulf coast most recently was a tragedy and Americans of all kind must feel deeply for those affected. However, the responsibility for such a catastrophe must not be shifted onto the shoulders of such caring individuals.
Furthermore, as a Republican, I say: I am glad to have health insurance entirely outside of the influence of government, as my healthcare is no one's business but my own.
Moreover, as a Republican, I am proud to say that I am graduate of an excellent private, Christian school. Since the mid-twentieth century public schools have been a public policy disaster. Schools in this nation are, as a whole, sub-standard. Public school buildings are falling apart while every measurable testing standard for public school children has fallen along with them. Public schools do a terribly inadequate job of teaching American children and it is a disgrace that American children are forced by law to attend them.
In short, private schooling alternatives provide higher standards of learning than corresponding public schools. Private schools graduate nearly all students, while public schools are considered outstanding when they graduate half. At the same time, the two types of schools enroll reasonably comparable student populations by measure of social status, ethnicity, race, and any other method of comparison. While I believe that children should attend good schools, I am absolutely certain that the government will never be able to institute such high education no matter how many federal tax dollars they may waste upon such an attempt.
I am a content Republican that has enjoyed the last few years despite their challenges.
How’s that for an answer.

You know, in the Declaration of Independence, it says we are guarantied the right to PURSUE happiness, not have it given to us by the government. If you are not happy, then do something to change it. I'm happy, I have a great family, a good job with a good income, I have health insurance, and live in an area with good schools and good people. This wasn't given to me by the government, I earned it by paying my own way through school, and working hard to provide for my family. If you don't like the way things are, if you don't like where you are, work to change it and quit braying that the world isn't conforming to your needs. Stand up and take responsibility for yourself. To be in a country where you CAN do that is a right guarantied by the government.

because component of their faith is the doctrine of self-loathing. they actually pick to be a puppet of Europe and performance all the west and doubtless all the international run through a liberal elite. they're ashamed of the those that believe. they're ashamed we've guns. they're ashamed that we've freedom of speech. They dont fairly have delight in some thing easily American. they save pointing out Rush as a diversion and they pick republicans to reject conservatism. Rush champions conservatism and he's conscious they pay interest to conservative communicate radio to some extent. they save slandering Palin because they comprehend shes a conservative and thats she has a good number of acceptance and attracts wide crowds. they're on a smear marketing campaign to guide away from her nomination and plausible presidency. Liberals dont communicate conservatism Ive noted. in case you actual have noted some doing so identity pick to work out!!! They spend their time attacking and attempting to intimidate conservatives. Conservatism AND liberalism they ignore about as a lot as plausible. They dont pick to communicate themes because they comprehend they get creamed contained in the themes anytime. They hate Fox information because they arent wearing the liberal banner like some thing else of them. Liberalism ISNT some thing to be debated or said yet assumed and instituted. Liberals develop into insensed once you dare disagree with their assumptions, conclusions, and policys. They comprehend this continues to be a 2 celebration device and that i imagine they were given excited because Obama became any such comic tale even through democrat criteria and became waiting to squeek out a win. Many are diluding themselves into wishful questioning that the republican celebration is in no way going to make a comeback.

First off, public schools are not poor, they just say they are. My school that I used to attend for instance just built a new gym and they did this after they said that they did not have enough money to provide our students with better facilaties. Public schools are not poor, you though, are poor minded.
