What black people complain about being poor that you know personally? If you don't have a answer don't ask a stupid question. You need to get educated being poor has nothing to do with trying in school. You are so racist that you can't even ask a proper question being black. being poor, doing bad in school, and stealing are entirely different subjects that has nothing to do with each other for cause or effect. Where are the yahoo community guidelines when you need them.

You have no idea what you are saying and that is okay...you are ignorant to the problems in our society. Go to the inner city and see what it's like there. Kids are not praised in school for being good students by thier peers and usually have the worst school facilities, books and educators. What kind of education would you get with those kind of odds against you. Not to mention the majority of single parent home where the parent is working two jobs just to keep a roof over thier heads and barely enough food on the table. Educate yourself before you point fingers...you have no clue how blessed you are.

All I can say is you better take a good look around you! What about all the white people who do not try in school and steal things? Or the Hispanics? I don't know about you but I bet there are more blacks that are doing a hell of a lot better than you right now! But the difference between them and you is that they have the decency to not say anything!

I agree with dukalink6000...most of it has to do with the parents, community and the roll models around any youth as to how well they try in school and what their social ethics are. I just moved into a very poor neighborhood filled with black, white and almost every other ethnic group and to be honest, none of them complaine about being poor. It is a very strong community and all of us help out with trying to educate all of the kids not only about education but also with social issues. The whole community bands together and the results look good so far.
Also, as someone who very recently had his house broken into before I moved, and the thiefs were caught and turned out to be upper middle class white kids, I find your stereotyping of blacks and poor people kind of disturbing. I will say as one of the only white people living in a very poor all black neighborhood at the time my thoughts went straight to the same as yours when i was broken into. But all of my neighbors chipped in and helped me get back on my feet. They gave money to help me move....money they really didn't have. It helped educate me and changed my views. All I can tell you is to try and educate yourself also. There are bad people of evey ethnic group.

Im not black, but I'm sure that most people would say that your question is stereotypical discrimation. White people do this too. Some of the hardest people in my school are black, and some of the laziest are white.

First off, that's sterotyping,
1. Not all black people are poor.
2.Not all black people slack in school.
3.Not all black people steal.
I promise you that you will find people of ALL races who slack in school and then steal later on in life. They're lazy, and the scum of society. That's it.

I went to school with a lot of black people, they didn't steal, they did do well at school and I believe most of them are now in decent jobs, please don't tar everyone of the same colour with the same brush! Some of the white people I know have become burglars, drug dealers and other kind of criminals!

So what qualifies you to speak for all black people? Also it's apparent that you're not so highly educated yourself.
