Christmas is still far away, and it already killed 4 birds and maimed a few more. What should I do, should I sell him?

Pigs are pigs -- when it comes to eating. (When people ask me what my pig eats, my standard answer is: "She'll eat your left leg if you stand still long enough!") But the only thing about your question that surprises me is that the pig is able to move fast enough to catch a bird and/or chicken. I have a pig -- admittedly, a pot-bellied pig rather than a hog-type pig -- and she will eat anything that's not nailed down. But I will say that I have never known her to overtly chase down any type of living creature -- she's just too lazy. Doesn't move that fast. But obviously your pig does move that fast -- so, as other answerers said, keep them separated.

pigs should not be mixed with chickens because they think it is food ,this is normal for a pig
pigs should be in a corral big enough for it to walk around and have an area where it goes poopoo

and a dry area to sleep
a field is the best .
In Africa we use pigs to churn up the ground and clean it thoroughly so that we can plant vegetables ,making the pig work for us .

it then gets put in the next place to be cleaned and prepared for planting

to keep a pig in the pen means you have to work for the pig ,who sits like a king waiting for it food and to have his pen cleaned everyday(silly)

this is known as a pig tractor and the pig needs less food because it finds a lot in the soil,
also you have a no smell situation

just some thoughts on pigs, and they love dead chickens
and will kill them to get them dead

Pigs will eat anything, male pigs will even hunt. The females tend to be more docile. Feed him well and keep your chickens away.

If you feed him well (I'm guessing its a he) he's just a badtemperred boar that needs distracting or a stong cage.

If he's for christmas.... the freezer will do nicely also.

Oh I would sell him. Pigs are omnivores like humans, they will eat meat if given the opportunity. He's got a taste for blood now, so unless you can keep him penned up, I wouldn't chance it. I read somewhere that pigs will also eat humans if given the opportunity..let me see if I can find an article about that....

pigs are evil like that
mean creatures, them piggies
move the hens, feed the hog more vegetables

chickens are cheaper than pigs, i'd keep the pig if it were me

eggs are cheaper to buy in the store than pork

get him fat and slaughter him as early as possible

let me know if eating the evil pig makes you have evil thoughts

You're probably not feecing him right, so he's desperate and he's eating the hens. If you feed him right and that doesn't work, put him far away from the hens. If he's far away from the hens and that doesn't work, then you should sell him.

feed your pig and keep the hens in the chicken coop or get the big bad wolf to keep the pig in line.

i would sell him to a pig farm whre they specialize only in pigs because its not good if he eats the chickens as a matter of fact ive never heard of such a thing kinda unique actually.

Here's advice from a NON-farmer or somethin, so don't bother to read this if you dont wanna. First, you cage the pig[sound oblivious, i know] then you sell it.
