the skin doesn't peel off like a sunburn if that's what you're looking for....

as with any injury to your skin.....it is going to scab up...that's why you lubricate it with whatever your tattoo parlor recommends ( mine recommends eucerin )

when you wash or shower, small colored pieces may flake off, this is normal.....just pat gently, dry thoroughly, and put your cream/ointment on.

the only thing you need to worry about, is if it gets red, inflamed or hurts.

if you have any questions, you should really just call the person who did your tattoo, they will be happy to answer any questions you have....

A few days is anywhere from 3 to 10. I had one that didn't start to peel until about 9 days later and one that peeled 2 days later. It depends on your skin type.

i dont think that it will always nessessarily peel. Every person and every tatoo is different. For instance (due to bad tatoo artists lol) Some people bleed from tats others dont, Some people it hurts others it doesnt, some people take longer to heal etc. I have a desent sized one on my leg and I dont remember it peeling significantly at all.

You know, A&D ointment is great, but neosporin mixed with shea butter is better. Use this blend at least 4 times a day and after every shower or bath for a month. Keep using the shea butter to protect your color.

it can, but it depends how deep your artist went and where on your body the tat i, most of the time its the dry ink that peels, not your skin.

Probably, are you keeping it well lubricated and all that? Mine peeled about 5 days afterward and then it looked fab. :)

You should've been told to keep a thin layer of vasaline or vitamin E oil on the tat...If you don't, you can lose some of the color or clarity to the lines...
