She's a woman that sees the VALUE in the MAN who's wife does NOT.

A mistress is a woman who is seeing a married man.
Some men have a mistress because there are not a lot of strings attatched. Some will pay your bills for you and buy you fancy things, as long as you don't pressure him into leaving his wife and you are there at his beck and call.

A mistress is usually a "hated" woman. Many women scorn her, the wife hates her....but the men LOVE her!

A mistress is NOT A WHORE...she is only loyal to one man, it is the man that is doing the screwing around!

A mistress is often "the other woman" for whom a married man provides in return for certain favors. It's in her best interests to be "available" at his beck-and-call, and it's also understood that both parties will keep this arrangement private and confidential. One older man who kept a mistress suddenly lost his fortune, and was unable to provide the creature comforts which his mistress had become accustomed to; the first person he told was his wife. "Will you still love me, even though I'm broke?" he asked. "Of course," the wife replied. "I promised to love you until death do us part, and that's a promise I intend to keep." When the old man told his mistress that he no longer had any money, he asked, "Will you still love me even though I'm broke?" The mistress replied, "Of course, I'll still love you...and I'll MISS you, too!"

A mistress is a woman who provides sex to a man who is married. The man will usually buy her a house and they might have children. Their union is not called a marriage and it is illegal. Therefore their children are called "bastards" ie born out of wedlock. The community they live in will not know about her and her children because they are a secret. What they are doing is frowned upon by society.
