you need to give a specific location and time of year. it can vary greatly at that depth. anywhere from 80+ degrees to 32- degrees.


if you want a world average, my guess would be somewhere in the 65 +/- 10 degrees degree range..

At 30-60 feet, the water is almost nowhere even close to 65º. The average may be closer to the mid 50's with most of the mid oceanic areas close to lower 40's. 30-60 feet is pretty deep (oviously not compared to how deep it can get), but I think 65º is too high (mabye a good average around costal area), and that even in some of the warmest spots 85º is too hot for specific locations.
