I'm sure it's something by Hendrx, Page, or Beck, but a pretty good instrumental that is full of guitar showmanship can be found in Metallica's To Live is To Die. That doesn't really count, but just saying....

And Slash during Estranged.

On the Jimi Hendrix box set there's an instrumental version of "Axis Bold As Love". Wow!. Also, 'Let The Good Times Roll" cover by Hendrix.

Interstellar OVEREDRIVE by Pink Floyd with Syd Barrett . Theyr live version of the song lasts 29 minutes live from Alexandra palace in 1967.Barrett is definetly a genius.
I like also Allman Brothers and Grateful Dead with Sugar Magnolia, Allman brothers (DUANE ALLMAN) with Ramblin' man
And Yeah Hendrix too, it look like the guitar singz to him and he love her like a real woman and much more

It was by Gary Richrath of REO Speedwagon off their live album "You Get What You Play For", however it was deleted when it was released on CD! It's just him and the guitar and the crowd....Great stuff!!
