don't have any arguments against them winning it all, but do have some for them winning it all,

1st- they didn't lose half their team as others have implied, they just lost some key players at key positions.

2nd- they still have most there offense in tack, qb-troy smith
rb-antonio pittman, wr- ted ginn(don't forget they had excellent
wr's last year besides ginn and holmes.

3rd- most of there incoming freshmen class, can step into the starting line-up now(they had one of the top 3 recruitments

4th- they added the best rated running back this year, chris wells

5th- doesn't matter who they lost on defense, the just keep re-loading yr after yr

6th- do i need to go any further????

Their defense... they are replacing what was considered the best linebacker core in the country last year. A.J. Hawk, Anthony Schegel, Bobby Carpenter, and Mike D'Andrea. Not to mention loosing their secondary in Donte Whitner, Ashton Youboty and Nate Sally. They are also going to have to get consistent play opposite of Ted Ginn now that S. Holmes has left. But with that being said they do some of the best reloading in all of college football, so I'm no saying they can't win it all, but you did ask us to give legitimate reasons why they couldn't.... defense wins championships, so we'll see what happens. But no matter what they will still beat Texas...

I just dont see it, can they stop the run if im not mistaken they play in the big ten where they have to play michigan. They also have to play a decent penn state and wisconsin team. Beyond that they have a pretty weak schedule so you do have that going for you. But if they do get to the national championship they will play top notch talent and we will see if ginn shows up.

They lost a ton of players on Defense. And Michigan is a far better team. Go Blue!

Because one of my teams out of the SEC will bring the title back this year... Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, or Florida

Notre Dame has a good shot as well

Three reasons:
1. They lost half their team in the draft
2. Brady Quinn
3. Jeff Samardzija

Every time I get ready to answer a college football question, I see that Dun Dun has already stolen my thunder. Excellent answer again, Dun Dun.

I have nothing more to say (how can I add to his excellent answer?).
