nope.
They can change color under influence of light, or lack of it.
But to 'tan like us' they would need indeed to have pigmentation and they don't have that. Scales are 'dead matter' like your nails and thats what gets the rays. Nothing going on there.

I've personally caught catfish where when I cleaned it it had a streak down the middle of its back (the part that is up when it swims) that was a different color than the rest of the fish, it was a darker brown than the rest of the mudcat. So I'm going to say that some fish do tan, not all of them though.

No, because their scales cannot heat up to such a level that the flesh starts to blister and die. It's just too hard. That's like looking at a metal chair in comparison to a fabric chair and askin, "Can the metal one ignite?"

only one. the hammerhead shark can get a tan! it along with people are the only organisms that can get one
