Proper toilet etiquette is to first use a large enough piece so that after soiling it on your soft, heavenly bottom, that you can now fold it inward to conceal the horrid look of excrement (that reflects what you ate in the last 8 hours) and to place it, not drop it or throw it, on the surface of the water in the bowl and then set it afloat. I do both. But I've been told by many of my guy friends ( don't ask but we got on this very same conversation ) that most of them fold.
