Who says it does? Maybe when people experience what we call "déja vu" it's just a memory of a future time.

I believe that it is our perception as living beings. In physics, there is nothing that prevents time from running backwards, and many chemical reactions are easily reversible by changing conditions. The most popular and widely believed origin of the universe theory is the "Big Bang," in which a very dense particle of matter exploded and over time became the universe as we now know it. Perhaps this is a cycle of expansion and after a long time, contraction. If contraction took place, it would be the normal state for anyone or thing in the universe. From our perspective, time might appear to run backwards then, but to anyone in the contracting universe it probably would appear to run forward. People studying astrophysics and gravitational effects and the distribution and density of matter in the universe are trying to determine these things. Try Stephen Hawking's "A Brief History of Time," and "The Universe in a Nutshell," in which one of the deepest thinkers of our time really tries to explain these complicated things so they are clear.
Also see Einstein's popular explanation of his Theory of Relativity. As you go very fast time slows down relative to a person who is stationary, and it has been proved with very accurate clocks. At light speed it would stop, according to Einstein.
To me, the nature of time is a philosophical subject, not a hard science like physics, but more open to interpretation, like psychology: somewhat subjective.

Time flows in one way because it seems like that.Our perceptions of time and space is limited.If your able to break the light barrier ie. the speed of light ,then time would reverse its flow.
There have been some people(Nostradamus,Edward Casey) who were able to overcome time and space dimensions.

Actually- time flows both ways- but you humans don't have the capability to see it any other way.

Time does not exist, thus it can not "flow" in any "way."
Your perception of "time flowing" is based on movement (i.e., the sun, clocks, computers, furry bunnies, etc.) and that is relative since time does not exist.

time only flows in one direction which is forward because time can't go in reverse, how else can time go forward if it can go backward?
