My daughter lost her father to cancer when she was three. She is now seven. I would like to share with her every year on Fathers Day, a few quotes from loving Dads. Important life wisdom or encougaging words every father wants their daughters to know. I also lost my father at a young age, so I am unable to share any from my father. Thank you!

I wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to answer. It is very difficult to pick a best answer. They all are so thoughtful and kind. Each one brought tear's to my eye's and warmth to my heart!

You don't have to be a boy to be in control of who you are, or how your life goes. A girl can be just as good at ANYTHING, as a boy is, and in some cases even better. A girl that sees her own strengths, doesn't have to depend on the strength of someone else. You (the daughter) CAN do ANYTHING, and be ANYTHING you want to be. Just believe in who YOU are.... and don't let others decide for you. Your friends will either make you better, or make you worse... depending on who you allow to be your friends. Good luck!

You are more loved than you can possibly know and you are special. There is nothing EVER you cannot discuss with me. No matter what you do even when I am disappointed in your choices or actions will every take my love from you.

I would tell her that every day and pray over her daily (with her) before she leaves to go to school or goes to any event without you.
