Many stay in a reltionship that is doomed because of fear of lonlyness and they dont think they can get another better person

No, you can't change someone. Some people stick around because it is easier then being alone and looking for someone you actually like.

people stay in the relationship because they feel like the person won't be like that for ever they feel that its going to change and it possibly won't so they try to hold on to it.

I personally would not stay, if i somehow realized this is not going to work,,,,our ideas are way too different, we don't believe the same way, etc.,,,even though he said, "oh i believe the way you do honey.." but after you got married, he changes his mind ...bulls---! i am gone!!! sorry

the only reason a person will stick around, is the hope that the other person will change. most of them dodn't though.
