Personally, my theory is that the reason is because there are so many tasty tidbits for crabs to eat in the Alaskan seas. Between the seals, the sea lions, the walruses, the orca, the bears. and men, plently of good crab food is available for the picking.

Easy, there are mommy crabs and daddy crabs and where you find the two together you find that they made baby crabs. Now those babies grow up and make more and more and more and more, and soon there are lots of little baby crabs. Everyone needs a nap so they are crabby.

Crabs loves love the cold waters around alaska.that area is also one of the most warmest regions,the plate boundry there makes a warm layer of water so the crabs dont freez entirely
