I've seen some remarks that some people don't feel that Mother's Day and Father's Day don't cover it for everyone. That maybe their should be Parent's Day or My Baby's Mama Day or whatever.

I have an idea to solve all holiday woes. You know how they have a blank piece in scrabble? Well, once a year they should have a BLANK holiday. So if there's someone or something that you feel you didn't get to commemorate, you just fill in the blank. We should celebrate it in August since there are no other major holidays in August, right?

Who's with me?

Hey, that's actually a really good idea....and the way you put it out there is still politically correct......hahaha, i love it, i would do it! Sure why not.....we need more holidays to have an excuse to celebrate something we feel about, and your right there are people that are being ignored by the typical holidays.... I love it.... Blank Day..... LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UGH! There are too many holidays! In my family, if we celebrated every birthday, anniversary, graduation, funeral, and all the preset holidays, we would have to have a gathering EVERY week to celebrate something!

Enough is enough!

Though, wouldn't it be nice if we had a "Kill a drug Dealer Day," or a "Burn a Drunk Driver Day". How about a "Decapitate a Wealthy Businessman who screws over his employees and stockholders Day"?

It depends. Will that give us a holiday off from work ...if so, totally count me in !!! Celebrating anything that results in not working is cool with me :-)
