It's not about what clothing size it's about what weight is appropriate.

That sounds right. It mostly depends on your body frame size and your height. I'm 5'1" so I wear a size 1 in clothes, so a size 9 for you seems right.

It depends on your frame. At that height, a 9 seems to be on the slim side.

It really depends on your frame. If you have a very small frame, it might be OK, but if it's larger, then it doesn't sound too healthy.
