"Angels" entered the charts at no. 7 for the week ending December 13th. For the week ending December 20th, it climbed to no. 5. Both weeks the Teletubbies were at no. 1.

January 3rd "Angels" was at no. 6 while the Spice Girls had the no. 1 with "Too much".

Robbie then climbed back to no. 6 from no. 7 on January 17th while All Saints' "Never ever" reached no. 1.

Robbie was at no. 9 for January 24th and no. 7 for January 31st. The respective number ones were Oasis with "All around the world" and Usher's "You make me wanna". Robbie then climbed to no. 6 while Aqua's "Doctor Jones" claimed top spot for two weeks. The second week was spent at no. 7.

When Celine Dion's "My heart will go on" reached the top on February 21, Robbie was at no. 4, which was its peak position.

Angels spent a total of 27 weeks on the charts, never climbing higher than no. 4.
