Good question, it is ashamed that most of the people that answered it does not realize how changing one big moment in history and the chances are good that they would not be thinking the way that they do now, if they would be thinking at all... About the only safe thing to do is if you are a creationist is to change the out come of the whole garden of Eden thing. Then everything would be different... totally different. Other than that I like one person's answer he would have gone to sleep earlier last night. While I might not say that there have been people in my life that I thought that I would get to see one more time.... and that time never happened.... So I would like to change that.

Wow.. that's a tough question. Well everything up to this secong right here is history. Ummm... I would have prevented one of the wars, but I don't know which one. Actually, the one thing I would definetley change was Adam and Eve eating off the forbidden tree. Just stop and think how different life would be.

The assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. He was intending to live to 125 and i'd say he dam well could have made it. The good he done was increadible for the world and yet he only restricted himself to the one coutry. Imagine if he had've wanted to change the world. No better man to live at the same time as Hitler if the world needs balance.

i would've went to bed earlier last nite.....that's the safest change, anything beyond that time frame and you'll be messing with the space time continuum with catastrophic consequences.

An example: you kill Hitler when he was a baby, that allows Ernst Roehm to be named Dictator in 1933. HE decides to commit resources and scientists to develop the heavy water experiments and make the a-bomb by 1939. By 1943, he defeats all the allies, eliminates all of european Jewry and enslaves half the planet. Thanks to your messing with the space time continuum you changed history dramatically.

In other words, don't do it!!

I would erase the Holocaust because It is unbelievable how long it lasted without any interference from other governments. And the thought of men put to slavery-helpless children and their mothers put into gas chambers is heart wrenching.
