AVG Free by Grisoft (licensed free for home use) is compatible with Zone Alarm Free and Zone Alarm Pro. I have both on my computer, and they work fine. Microsoft also has anti spyware, which is important for computer protection.

I'm not sure about its compatibility with Zone Alarm, but AVG from free.grisoft.com is the best free virus checker.

You can use BitDefender as a back up antivirus, its only available on demand so won't conflict with something that runs in the background. You can install it as a second anti virus with no problems. It should pick up anything missed by ZA and its a good idea to use layered protection in this way rather than relying on a suite produced by one company.

i'm utilising Nod32 Anti-Virus with the ZoneAlarm professional (anti-virus and anti-secret agent ware useful factors off), alongside with SpySweeper, and that all of them paintings proper at the same time, no themes utilising them on the similar time. Nod32 is amazingly common in factors (memory) at the same time as in evaluation with optimal distinct AVs. that is likewise rather helpful and that i have were given through no potential had any pretend positives arise yet.

My personal favorite is Anti Vir
or even Advast
:)
Both are Freewear, and I think Anti Vir is Open Source too...
