I once heard that everyone has homicidal thoughts from time to time. It's just that most people don't admit to it aloud.

I meet and work with people every day I would really really like to hurt, maim, or kill. I think most people do. What makes a society is the will power to NOT kill them. I haven't followed through on those desires.... yet

At different points in life yes, I think it's instinct that all walks of life resort to when pressured or been in situations that arises with stress start thinking negatively. But with most thoughts, they dissipate quickly. The only real concern is if the person starts planning his homicidal thought and carrying it out.
As for me, I really don't have to worry about it since, I stay away from it most of the time, or I play violent video games :)

The dragon cranked it up.
"Um, Flagon, you need a target first"
"Why", she asked.
"Well, it is sort of considered good form".
Flagon sat down on her haunches, and scratched an ear with 10 foot long talons.
"So what are you saying", she asked.
"The question was if you you ever had homicidal thoughts"
"Well I have had the odd twinge", Flagon said.
"Not you, me" I pointed out. Have I had homicidal thoughts.
"Well have you?"
"I invented a 30 foot tall, 10 ton fire breathing freaking dragon. What the hell do you think?", I said.
"I think you dealt with it", observed Flagon.
"No Sh!t", I replied.

everyone does they just are different levels of the thoughts for people and some people have more thoughts some people have less

I do... We're humans, whether we admit it or not, we all do- it doesn't mean we're going to act upon them... Sometimes thoughts are just thoughts!
