years .he lost his license about 3 years ago before i meet him because he got in alot of trouble with the cops .he cant get his car back until he pays all his fines .he makes about 550 a week and lives with his parents but he doesnt know how to save money .i have a job where i make about 300 a week and this month i got a 1000 dollar bonus. the last 2 days i been f*cked up on excasty pills and i told my boyfriend that i would pay off his fines so i can help him get his car and now im really upset .i'm a very negative person i dont believe in others and i dont trust anyone .so i keep thinking that once i pay his fines that are about 1500 dollars and his going to get his car then dump me . the point is that i have to pay for my own college and he sayed that i help him pay off his fines and get his car that his going to be able to make alot of money and he will pay for my school and anything i want but i keep thinking im going to get f*cked over .should i pay all his fines ?

You do not have to pay his fines because you were not in a rational state of mind when you offered. If your boyfriend is really your friend and cares about you he should not press you on it. He should take up his responsibilities and pay off the fines HE accrued on his own. HE is an adult. You could compromise and in a sober state of mind offer to pay a [small] part of the fines to help him out.

No don't pay his fines. They are his responsibility.
As for you saying that you are a very negative person and don't trust anyone, this will be down to the fact that you are doing E. You might feel wicked when you are up but on the comedown you get depressed and paranoid - I know coz I have been there. I stopped and I think you should too. You are only 18 and should go out and experience what the world has to offer with the need for chemical stimulants.

First of all, why are you screwing yourself up with drugs? If you are planning to go to college, that's not the way to get your life straightened out. That's your money, tell your boyfriend that you are sorry you made the promise while you were messed up, but you need the money for your future. And, why are you dating someone who is obviously such a loser? He has no license, lives with his parents?! Come on, you can do better than that. Do you have such low self esteem that you think he's all the better you can get? keep your money for school, stop taking the drugs, and get away from this guy.

If you wasnt taking the excasty pills then you would have gotten yourself in this situation. Tell him that you had to lend your parents the money.

if you feel he'll leave you after you'll pay the 1500, pay only 10%=150$ as a "contribution". if he left you after I'll give you your 150 back.
NB: if he's facing troubles with cops it's a bad signal

I wouldn't pay anything for him. theres always the chance he will dump you anyway. Let him suffer it out. you sound like a pretty level headed girl and you should stay off the drugs

No don't do it. It's his deal not yours . If you pay now you will be paying forever. You show people how to treat you and if you show him you will do that...... he will ask you for $$ till the end of the relationship and by that time your broke financially and emotionally.

YOU MAY COMMIT TO PAYING HALF, OR UNDER WRITTEN CONTRACT, YOU GET HIM TO SIGN AND NOTE, THAT HE PAYS YOU BACK UNDER CONTRACT IN CASE THINGS DON'T GO AS PLANNED. THIS IS A MORE BUSINESSLIKE WAY TO DO IT. SAY HE HAS A YEAR TO REPAY YOU AND IF HE DOESN'T THEN, HIS *** IS IN COURT. YEAH MEN WILL DO THIS, BUT IF YOU WANT HIM, AND YOU PROPOSE THIS, AND HE LOVES YOU, HE'LL UNDERSTAND OR TELL YOU NOT TO PAY IT AT ALL.
