What's the blues/jazz song with the lyrics "boom boom boom boom"?

I'm pretty sure it was by a guitarist, maybe Wilson Pickett or something.

Boom Boom...John Lee Hooker. Its one of his most famous songs. He did it in The Blues Brothers Movie, the one with John Belushi and Dan Akyroyd.

The song is by Delta Blues Man, the great John Lee Hooker. He has done multiple renditions of it - some recent, some quite a bit older.
