I think it was a filler episode for that Blue Peter winner.
It hardly had the Dr and Rose in anyway and as for that "bit of a love-life" with a paving stone... ewwww.
I think Peter Kay is funny, but he can't act seriously and that role needed either very serious actor or... no actually-- a better script writer would have gone down better.

I think this recent series of Dr Who has been good on the whole
But I have to agree with you on this that Love and Monsters was a load of rubbish and a waste of time

Yeah it was truly awful. Peter Kay was on Jonathon Ross on Friday - high as a kite - seemed like he'd lost the plot. Now I see why...

I agree,the Dr who series has been good so far but that one really does win awards for being crap.
