If Repub's are for the rich and Dem's are for the poor then why are there so many more rich Dem's?

I have always know that there are a LOT more millionaires that are democrat's then republicans, yet they constantly throw out the rhetoric that Republicans are for the wealthy. HUH???

The fact's speak for themselves. Look up who is amongst the richest 400 in america according to forbes. You will find immediate answers. Bill Gates, democrat. OFF THE TOP!!! Do your own research. I could never talk you into beleivinjg real fact's instead of liberal/democrat talking points.

Repub's are voted more from the more poor because in the end, the poor does not want communism.

This is an easy one. It's because everything Dems portray themselves as is a facade, a Potempkin Village. They're all about themselves and gathering further wealth and power. If that's not true, then why does Teddy "Fast Swimming" Kennedy oppose the off-shore wind farm? Cheap power, good for the environment. But we can't have that because it would impede upon his yachting. And if they're sooooo for the poor, why don't they pitch in some of their tens of millions of dollars? Or at least stop sticking all their millions in off-shore tax shelters? They're hypocrites. At least the Republicans are living in reality and are more honest about who they are.

How do you now this? Because Rush Limbaugh told you? Two Thirds of Republican money comes from the super rich. Who do you think benefits form repealing the estate tax, reducing taxes on capital gains and stock dividends? The rich. How much capital gains did YOU have last year. How much income did YOU have from Stock Dividends. Is your estate worth over 5 million?

Also, regarding the Forbes List, it does not indicate political party and Bill Gates is one person, his being at the top of the list proves nothing about whether their are more rich republicans or democrats. So you are full of it there.

Let's see some hard data that proves your point beyond "i have always know" . I guess if you always knew it you never researched it. You are being played for a dupe if you think that republicans are supporting the middle class.

I bet you think GWB is just a good old boy from Texas. He's from a super rich family from Connecticut. He went to prep school at Andover in Massachusetts. Went to Yale and Harvard. Who does he hang out with? Rich Republicans.

Also, it's not how much money you have, it's what policies you support. Republicans have traditionally supported policies that favor the rich.

What is your source for the "fact" that there are more rich Dems than Repubs? The Bushes are old, old money, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, all the blowhards at Faux News and most of the ceos of major corporations in this country are Repubs. A more interesting question would be why do so many middle- and lower- income people support Republicans when that party does all it can to benefit the top income people at the expense of everyone else?

First you will find that those rich Democrats are mostly famous types in music or acting. I do not mean to say their work is not hard, but the rich Republicans generally worked harder to get there. While sure some have inherited the wealth those types are actually more likely to turn left. Those who worked from the lower or middle class to make it too the top rarely want to give it away to those who don't seem to try.

There is a great story about Erin Brockovich (sp) who of course was a poor single mom when she helped a lawyer file a law suit against a big electric company and win - for that she got tons of money, but she got even more for the books and movie. She found out she owed about a million dollars in taxes and was "outraged" but quickly shut up about it when she realized it was offending her base.

You lack the ability or congnitive functions to conclude that wealth does not preclude liberals and progressives from working for and representing the intrest of the working class.
