There have been several 'heavy duty' superstars in the past---now here--we run into YOUR interpretation of the title superstar(?)--what you are thinking is anyone's guess but the truth of the matter is --across the board there have been HEAVIER folks that have commanded in their field of endeavors---check out the careers of such people as : Fatty Arbuckle / Totie Fields / WC Fields / Momma Cas Elliot / John Goodman / Pavarotti / Rosemary Clooney / Buddy Hackett / and even Elvis (later years) and the list goes on and on----now if you're looking for a "superstar" in your own special niche that may or may not play into what your looking for here but as stated this is the best I can do here
