Jeb seems slightly more intelligent than W

All this time, I thought the people (kinda) selected him. W was such a good leader with his savings and loan (sarcasm), and then the Texas Rangers, the brilliant people of Texas decided he should run that state (into the ground) also. After his overwhelming success at that endevour and the difficulty of deciding who was the lessor of two evils for the 2000 presidency, he was elected (albeit, with less votes than his opposition) as the President of the U.S. While Jeb was originally considered the heir apparent, W's ability as a leader overwhelmed the influential leaders of big business. He was perfect; he could sing and dance and do whatever he was told, all the while convincing the American public that everything he did was in their best interest. Increase deficit spending? Yay, let's do; it'll help make our kids work harder. Ignore global warming? Yay, it's too cold in the winter anyhow. Jeb couldn't have done this as well, he was too smart for his own good; maybe even has a mind of his own.

Karl Rove choose GW.
After G herbert B. hired Rove for his dirty tatics out of college he had him babysit a 20 something GW and drive him around.

I personally think he fell in love with GW. This is only my opinion.

But it was Rove's rise to influence in Republican tatics and startegy that gave us the comedic stylings of GW.

It was Roves who pushed for GW in the Republican circles. That is why he is untouchable...Rove can do anythign with the full protection of the white house.

Rove was the factor that got Bush a failed Businessman, born in conneitcut the govenership of Texas.

The other Bushes were criminals involved in the Savings and loans scandals.

I'm not sure on this one but Jeb is much younger that GW and people usually don't elect the young guy.

I don't think Former President George H.W. Bush chose one of his sons to succeed him. George W. Bush chose to run and was elected and then re-elected.

GHWB didn't have much to do with it.Other than providing coattails for GWB to ride.
Jeb already had a job.
little George couldn't keep a job for long.
This job is the longest he's ever had.

H.W. Bush had nothing to do with it. The ones who chose W as President were the American people (unfortunately)
