i don't think anyone is born with a gene that makes them a criminal. i think it has to do for the most part with the situation they were raised in. i think the majority of rehabilitation has to be done when they person is young. the younger they are the better chance they have to be rehabilitated. there is a book called Last Chance in Texas by John Huber about a program offered at Giddings State School (a TYC facility) that is aimed at rehabilitating the violent youth offenders. They have a very high success rate with low recidivism. You should read it. I also think that once a person goes through any kind of program aimed at rehabilitation, it would be better for the person not to go straight back into the situation they when they got into trouble. But the person would have to start over in a place on their own away from they friends and family they know and love and be strong enough to do it on their own.

Many years ago that was that theory, it was from Lombardo he said some criminals had some profiles and everyone will know if the person will be a criminal before doing an action?
Many people who do crimes need to adapt, they are violent to themselves and the world, they are the frist ones to recive their own violence, because law /human and eternal/ will judge their bad actions /and I think some of their good actions too.
Some criminals do have mental and emotional issues, no one in his or her right mind want to destroy another person or to do something against the law, but the thing is that some of them are very intelligent too, they think they know how to hide evidence, etc. They do good plans to affect others.
I dont believe that a gene is responsible for that, I think is the education, lack of love from their parents, also, their hostile envirionment in many ways and also sometimes justification......is it a crime to be a soldier and kill kidds in another country but to say is for your country does that justify that crime?
Which crimes can be justified by social standars and which ones are justified in the mind of the criminal...in some jails, some criminals DO NOT repent, they still say they did okay and they will do it again.
Genes do not control impulses, desires and behaviours...genes are just part of the personality but they do not dictate our elections....

Genes have no control over behavior.
Genes control our physical characteristics.
You may have greater or lesser intelligence based on the genetic makeup of your brain but intelligence or lack of it doesn't cause criminal behavior.
Some criminals are very smart and some are very stupid. the stupid ones go to jail. the smart ones sometimes get away with it.

no its not a gene...its just they do what they were influenced by when they were younger. if they were molested, raped, or something else, they build hatred up and start doing things to people
