I could totally relate to that movie. Which is why I liked it so much. When Clerks first came out I was in college and working in a video store like Randel. I kid you not, people would come in and ask me for, "That one movie. You know which one!" How the hell would I know what movie they were talking about?

OH YES !!! I worked retail for many years and I can identify. The only thing worse the "john Q public" is your own children!!! But at least I won't get fired if I tell them "no" lol

I used to work in retail and HATED it. I can totally relate to some of it. I can't wait for Clerks 2 to come out!

yeah... i work at baskin robbins... i don't even want to get into how many times people have asked "can i try them all?" with that smug grin on their face thinking they were the first one to ever think of that or (our air conditioning is broken and has been broken for years) "gosh, it's hotter in here than it is outside!" it's like... duh, i've been here for 7 hours dying in this heat, you think we don't know that??? (and you think we want to be reminded???)

all in all it's a good job though... and it's a job... i make money... lol.
