Are you sure your really overweight? Do you have a family Dr. who sez so. A lot of kids think they are fat when they aren't really. But then again a lot of kids are overweight. If you want to be in shape there are only two things you have to do.
1. Eat less
2. Move more

1 EAT LESS. Cut out the crap; chips, ice cream, soda, candy. Eat more foods that are low in fat and high in nutrients or protiens. No burgers grilled chicken instead. Think Vegtables & Fruits. etc. Eat less and don't eat crap

Move more. Exercise. Put down the PS2 & pick up a soccer ball. Get off yahoo answers and on a bike. Go sweat & get dirty

"Dieting" is bad. Changing your diet is part of a change in lifestyle. Do NOT try to lose 30 lbs. straight out. To do that in a healthy way will take some time. Ask your parents to help you look up some books on healthy eating and living. You really just need to eat healthy and stay active.

Good luck!

yes, weight watcher's is the way to go...hopefully you'll learn to give you thoughts about food to this self help group and learn a life time habits, once you get weight on it's so easy to get into a cycle of depression, food, diet, over and over...it's just maddening..I don't wish my worst enemy to be fat...it is a job to stay in check...as you go to weight watchers you'll see how other people deal with the weight and stay positive about the change...I as you may have guessed, am overweight also...good luck..
