Well, is shows interrest in an area. That could point to some part of a personality.
I personally think that the way the question is asked tells more but "the best answer" that the asker picks really tells what the personality may be.

yes I believe for the most part it does, take your question for example, it shows that your somewhat intelligent, curious, deep thinker, self consious, bored, and stuck for something to ask. Am I right?
