of course the Palestinians have been oppressed as long as they can remember by the Israelites.
though the middle east conflict is too complex to answer in just a few words, the bottom line is history proofs that Palestinians need to be in their own land while Israelites rely on religious (biblical) wishful thinking of the promised land.

I sympathize with the Palestinians. They had their land stolen, their houses destroy ,there are thousand of Palestinians that can't come back to thei houses 'cos the Israelis don't let them. Now i feel sorry for the Israelis civilians that lost their life during the conflict, but there are more Palestinians killed by Israeli army. And every time that happens everyone calls it a "incident",but when Palestinians are killing Israelis they are definitely terrorists.I think every one has the right to defend themselves, not just the Israelis...

all conflicts are fueled by someone or something,,,, sympathy does not help much; although, my sympathy is with the families of the innocent victims,,, our US military and their families,,, victims of the 9-11 attacks,,,, Katrina and other hurricane victims,,,, the Sudan,,, all victims of conflicts around the world.

I sympathize with both. Both have lost citizens. Innocent blood has been shed on both sides.
