I'd ask the people who work in phone shops... they are trained to know that sort of stuff.

Sony have just brought out the W810i its a music phone if you like that sort if thing, but if you have never used a sony the move could be problematic, the n series from Nokia is fantastic but costly.i work with mobiles all day and the 6111 has not much memory and the speaker is not that great. on Samsung the D600 is still a great all rounder but small keypad for large hands.
so that leaves the z400 not a bad choice but go to the shop and take a closer look good luck.

hey hope this helps.
i have used many phones in the past 5 years, you could say all the makes, from experience, i would suggest the nokia if you are going for a long term thing, as it is the most durable, and the most easy to use, as the features in the 6111 ar excellent for such a small thing.
you could also suggest bying a nokia 6230i, as it is also small and has everything including expandable memory, 1.3MP camera and an mp3 player, as it also has a radio.
but this is up to you.
samsung always goes wrong, software wise, as well as it is a bit obscure to use.
also a really really good make is offcourse the motorola v3i as it is also small and has alot of features.
goood luck,
and gongrats on ur new phone

I've had both nokia's and samsungs in the past
I would never have a nokia again I found them unreliable, speakers pack up on them, crap battery life.
Personally I'd save up a bit longer & get a D800, one of my mates just got one & its the bees b*llocks!

I would take the one that has the most functions for the least amount of money. That way if it is not what you thought it would be you are not out a lot of money and you can change to a more expensive model. There are some really nice phones out there that do not take a real bite out of your pocket.
