I believe that this existence we are living in now has no end and i will tell ya why. I think that we are in a sort of state of learning or purgatory if you will. So i believe that each of us is here on Earth until what we have learned is finished or the people we are here to help have been helped. Then i believe we move onto the stage of more learning and then finally we are in an awesome wonder of enlightenment and peace. Not really a year time line for you , sorry just something for you to think on . Email me anytime

By world, do you mean the universe??
Well, if you meant just planet earth, then I believe it will end 50 years from now. If we continue what we do about not protecting the ozone layer, the effect of global warming will be massive.
There was a feature once in Discovery Channel about 10 ways by which earth will meet her doom. Better, watch out for it, maybe it will be refeatured.

Try this one: count all the stars at the sky and multiply them by the number of the molecules of Oxygen in the air. Done? Okay, now to the number you've got add the number of the drops of water there are in the Pacific Ocean. Have you got your number?
If you managed to get the number, you're a liar.
If you haven't, too bad, because that much years have to pass before the world ends... :D
Enjoy the life, don't think about the end of it. :) :) :)

It'll end the last day of the year that *everybody* stops thinking and talking about it. Really. So long as one fool runs around saying "The end is NEAR!!", somebody will be ready for the end of days....
And the whole point behind the end of days is that *nobody* at all whatsoever is going to be ready for it.
At the rate things are going, Humanity may well be extinct before that happens, at which point it becomes a chicken-and-egg question, doesn't it? :p

This world as we know it will end at Second Coming of Jesus Christ. He is coming back very, very soon. May be in my wife (I am 84), probably in my son's (50) life, pretty surely in my grandson's (27) life. Come Lord, the Prince of Peace!
In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!

Sure - nothing's forever in this world. Even this world. Some scientists predict an explodion of the sun in 10 000 yrs. That sounds absolutely ok to me
