I probably should be cheering for the U.S., but I really am cheering for Germany.

Australia and Italy are who I'm cheering for. But so many underdog sides have impressed me so much. These sides have risen above all expectations and given outstanding performances and that is the pleasure of the WC. These are the kinds of sides that will have my total support should either of mine not be that fortunate to win. Though I also like the look of Argentina. It would be great for Brazil should they win, but it would be great for the world and for football should an unexpected pull off the cup.

Was for Brazil. But after today's game vs. Australia, I'd prefer Argentina winning now.

I always cheer for Argentina; if they are disqualified at any stage, I root for my family's mother countries: Italy (though I might not this year), Germany, and Spain.
