if you have a major illness and it does keep you from functioning normal and keeping a job... i know you can.. it is not easy to get on by any means..but only your doctors can tell you if you are sick enough to be on disability.. i have also heard that they are making it harder to get on ssi these days.. so you will just have to go to the process and see.. some medicines you may have to take their is no way you can work.. and it depends on if the doctor thinks this is going to be more of a permanent thing in your life too.. a lot goes by the training and school progress you may have if they can help you find some way of taking care of yourself without ssi....ssi is a source to help you,, and i am on ssi and have been for years.. i know i can not hold down a full time job but you know that if you could work and support yourself you could have more things you need and want in this life..so the best to you...

If it prevents them from working - yes. If it prevents them from working full time yes. As long as the person is not putting on the dog and is genuinely clinically depressed..., certainly.

Yes, if it is so bad you cannot function. They also need alot of dr,s notes and medication you are on. It is not that easy. You have to show you have been ill for a number of years and on medication and under dr's care.
