The most widely advertised scar gel is Mederma. Target has a generic brand for $7.00. I believe it helped my complexion quite a bit. Also, if you have raised scars, the dermatologist can suggest specif things. I have researched this in depth for maybe six years. I too, have facial scars. I am going to have an 02 laser procedure. It's roughly around 3,000. But aside from all the junk you have to buy, AlphaDerma is great. They are all expensive. Slight abrasive masks almond meal, gentle exfoliating. I have had by scars for over 10 years, and it just takes time. But they DO improve. Another good product is Alpha Hydox it's 10%. You can get it at walmart. If you'd like more info let me know...Also just plain vaseline if your skin can tolerate it!

I have the same problem, but I have been trying a Vitamin K cream for blotchy skin, it's called Vita-K solution. I also try to use an exfoliating scub once a week to get rid of the dead skin cells on my face. I have a terrible time going places without make-up (liquid foundation) on my face, but I found that going without it for a while really has been helping the scarring to dissappear. Also, try to get a tan on your face this summer.

Vitamin E (oil) 100% and not deluted. Apply where the scars are and they will go away. What I did was to put the vitamin E into the face and body lotion that I use daily tha way you won't forget to apply it everyday. It really works, it work for me.

the best and most effective way to get rid of those scars is to go see a dermatologist and get a chemical peel or a microdermabrasion

see a doctor and take oral meds or creams that can knock them out. its the best way. OTC stuff wont work as good, and youll just waste your time.
but if you are really low on money or want to start using something in the meantime, use cocoa butter. works on stretch marks too.
