slice and rub onion on the mosquito bite. It will stop itch and reduce the swelling due to mosquito bite.

Well, I've found that putting anti-itch cream on it then covering it with a bandaid works really well. If it's for you, you can "X" it with a finger nail (that releases some of the histimine and will stop the itch) you can also burn it (slightly) it'll hurt like heck, but when the stings gone it won't itch anymore.

Calomine Lotion it kind of looks like a light pepto bismal but you apply it with a cotton ball on top of the mosquito bite and it sooths the itch with like a minty feeling (depending on the brand you get). But you wouldn't want to walk around with it on, you'll have pink dots dabbed all over you, lol.

Get a cotton ball or a wad of tissue paper and soak it with bleach. The bleach draws the toxin out of the bite and the itch will stop.

I prefer medical grade Tea Tree oil it stops the itch fast and they are usually gone by the next day.

Mix baking soda with a little water to make a paste. Then put it on the bite.

best thing we ever used is band-aid anti-itch gel - comes in a tube - available almost anywhere.

my children and I swear by:

Chapstick brand " Medicated " Lip Balm

( in the very light blue wrapper )

we came across this remedy by accident.....and will use nothing else now !!
