Well, there's the Spanish... Camarera or Camrero... or Mesaera or Masero... means the same as "restaurant server" but a bit classier. Then, you could be a Garçon in French or a Busker. or a Matre d' hotel if you were in charge.

waiter/waitress, inside salesperson, culinary associate, project coordinator, or front room attendant. there is absolutely nothing wrong with using the term waitperson or waiter simlpy because, anyone who knows anything about the position knows that it requires good people skills and the ability to multi-task with a level head.

The best way is to ask your employer about your official title. There would be nothing worse thatn to have a future employer attempt to verify a title that does not exist.
