Nope. The only way to ease hangovers is drink a glass or two of water before you go bed after a night of drinking, and take two Tylenol. Alcohol pulls the water out of your system (basically dehydrates you), and it's the lack of water that gives you a hangover. If you put water back into your body before you go to bed you won't get a hangover. Since I found this out, I haven't had a hangover in four years.

No. In fact under the CAGE system, it is a sign of alcoholism.
The CAGE questionnaire, developed by Dr. John Ewing and named for its four questions, is one such example that may be used to screen patients quickly in a doctor's office.
Two "yes" responses indicate that the respondent should be investigated further.
The questionnaire asks the following questions:
1. Have you ever felt you needed to Cut down on your drinking?
2. Have people Annoyed you by criticizing your drinking?
3. Have you ever felt Guilty about drinking?
4. Have you ever felt you needed a drink first thing in the morning (Eye-opener) to steady your nerves or to get rid of a hangover?
The best way to reduce hangovers is not to drink as much the night before.

Just like someone else said, it's delaying the inevitable. You have a temporary feeling of euphoria and light headedness, but you are going to pay for it the following day. I've tried that before on more occassions than I should have, and it really does not work.

No, it just gets you drunk again to where you don't feel the pain. The next day will be even worse though, because you have that much more alcohol in your system that your body will have to process out.

No! you must be proactive with hangovers, as opposed to reactive.
Don't drink so much on day one that on day two you are trying to find a remedy. :)

Not really it only makes you an alcoholic.
It does give a false sense of feeling better but it does not in reality.
the only thing that really helps is not drinking so much the day before.

actually I think it does, it has something to do with the way alcohol affects the part of your ear that controls balance. But maybe its better just to tough it out
