I suggest you quit trying to get other people to do your work and get to writing. You're wasting time.

1800-2000 words is only 4-5 double-spaced pages. That really isn't a lot. College students write far more than that, sometimes more than once a week. Sit down with a peice of paper and a pen and do some brainstorming. I suggest that you write down the things that are most interesting, scary, or fun about your topic and take 3 of those and write your essay. Make sure that you tie all of it together with a main point, or thesis statement.

This is easy. You can make it fun....give it a shot.

Good Luck

An interesting approach you might take is to write about how you feel about the different teachers you have. Remove names so that noone is offended, unless you have nice things to say about a teacher...let them know.

In other words, do certain teachers use methods and strategies that you think are effective? Are there teachers that cause you to lose motivation? Why?

Taking this perspective allows your teacher to see that you are paying attention and can also be an indirect way to help your teachers. Be honest, but offer constructive criticism when needed.

Just a suggestion...

First...Relax, breath and reflect (on your school life that is!)

make a list of the important things that happen in and because of school (good or bad), number them by importance.

2...come up with a thesis (basically your 'point', where are you going with your paper? "school stinks" is not a good thesis:)

3. Write a first paragraph about your 'thesis,' what do you want to tell your reader?

4. start the second paragraph with the most important item on your list from step 1.

5. last paragraph...sum it up, restate what your 'point.'

6. The very most important step....proof read, have your mom proof read, have your friend proof read. Even the best paper is crap when it's grammatically wrong!

Good luck!

You have to write it yourself, please. This should be the easiest essay of your life. "School life" is basically what you are going through RIGHT NOW, and that should be simple to talk about - it's the kind of things you are experiencing right at this time in your life. Your teacher is not asking very much of you by giving you this assignment.
