First you should know what kind of games you are going to make.
For basic and fantastic games you can use Flash. For advanced games if you are beginner you should use Visual Basic. Else, you can use Visual C++ . But still you should learn MS DirectX (or Open GL) programming library to make 3D games. Also you can use Java for internet games.

Pascal was invented to teach proper programming techniques. It forces you to do most things correctly. I suggest that you learn Pascal first.
Once you have learned one language, it is pretty easy to learn another one. C++ will probably be of most use in computer games.

Visual basic which is easy but won't let u make professional looking games.. so C and C++ are best though too difficult to learn

since you are a beginner, you should learn a fairly understandable language which has many plugins for games, too, the best is python read it from zero: http://www.python.org it has a great user base and add ons for game creation.
