The easiest topic you could do is to persuade college students to use condoms. You could research different std's etc and focus on the point that college students are at the age that most people get std's. This will be informative and you would really fall under the persuasive category. It will be easy to research and remember and your teacher will be proud of you for choosing an important issue.

Good luck!!

talk about something you care about. Politics are usually great for persuasive speaches (just be careful not to get mad!). Abortion rights, Environmental issues, child pornography, border control, war, etc. you can talk about why you deserve an A on this project. It's a bit humerous, but it could work... if you have an easy going teacher. research what makes a good argument, and then explain why you have earned this.

failing that, try to go for something personal: why you deserve a trip to hawaii, why people ought to graduate from college, what makes a good business good.

Good luck, and stop messing around on Yahoo! answers!

How about a speech on the topic of : Communication !?

...After all, it is what we're all doing here, and in your class, right? And, it's easy to talk about too. (No pun intended)
You can try to persuade others to use more verbal communication, as opposed to the many other forms we utilize today... Such as, here on the net, e-mail, and phone.
Anyway, it should be fun, and will get people talking!

Whatever you decide to use, good luck! And, nice "chatting" at ya!

I did mine on why you should have your cats and dogs spayed and nuetered. I had pictures of animals at the pound that were ready to be put to sleep because there are so many and so many of them never get adopted. I got an "A" and students decided to have their pets fixed all because my speech touched a soft spot with a lot of them.
You can get pictures off the internet and a lot of information too.

I know how you feel, I just finished a public speaking class last semester. Try persuading people to donate to charity, have safe sex, donate blood, exercise more, drink more water or you could try convincing people that what goes around really does come back around (Karma)! Hope this was helpful.
