She never does anything special, never does anything romantic, sex life is bad to nonexistant (as passionate as dry toast), never defends, ignores when her friends are around, leads desparate ugly lonely men on thinking she is interested in them and even when you talk to her about it she never really listens to it. and only really cares when she is not feeling good? What would you think about a successful better twin of yourself in the opposite sex?

You don't seem very keen on her any more. I'd suggest you go to relate or some sort of relationship counselling.
You could try making a new start: tell her you's like to reignite the spark of your relationship, that you think you've been taking her for granted. Ask her if she wants to work with you to make things better.
Start eating meals together and going out together. Restart physical contact without expecting it to lead to sex - cuddles, kisses, maybe rub her shoulders.
Notice if she looks good and tell her. Take it in turns to cook and compliment her if she makes something you enjoy.
Don't expect an overnight change.

Are you sure you're not my husband? Anyway since I'm like your wife and have been married 17 years happy it's you that have the problem she see you as a close door. She probably only talk to you when you feel like talking. She probably flirts because that is when you pay attention. Talking to and talking at is different try it don't start an argument with an argument. Most important bring something different to the bed and you would get more play.
